KenoaTV M3U Playlist and Xtream Codes Login Guide

KenoaTV logins, in short
KenoaTV sends your login by email, in three forms: an M3U playlist link with an EPG URL for the TV guide, an Xtream Codes login (server URL, username and password), and, for MAG boxes, a portal URL. They all open the same subscription; which one you use depends on your device and player app. This guide explains what an M3U playlist and an Xtream Codes login are, which apps take which, how to refresh the channel list and the IPTV EPG, and how to keep your login to yourself.
We don't print any example links on this page. Your own links are in your welcome email, and they are the only ones that work for your plan.
What an M3U playlist is
An M3U playlist is a plain text list that tells a player app which channels exist and where to fetch each stream. You never open it yourself: you give the player the playlist link, and the player reads the list and builds the channel menu from it.
The playlist covers the channels. The TV guide comes from a second link, the EPG URL, which is why the welcome email gives you both. Without the EPG URL, channels still play, but the guide stays empty.
Adding the M3U playlist
The steps are almost the same in every player:
- Open the player app and find "Add Playlist" (some apps call it "Add New User" or "Remote Playlist").
- Choose the "M3U URL" option.
- Give the playlist a name you'll recognize, such as KenoaTV.
- Enter the M3U link from your welcome email, exactly as written.
- Enter the EPG URL from the same email.
- Save and let the channels load.
On an Enigma2 receiver (Dreambox, VU+) the KenoaTV playlist goes in a different way: open the receiver's web interface by typing its IP address into a browser, go to the bouquet section, upload the M3U file or enter the M3U link, convert it to a bouquet with the built-in converter, then reload the services or restart the receiver.
What Xtream Codes is
Xtream Codes is a login format rather than a file. Instead of one long playlist link, you enter three short details: the server URL, a username and a password. The player then signs in to the server and fetches the channel list, the on-demand library and, in many players, the guide.
Most IPTV player apps support it. In the app, pick "Xtream Codes" or "XC Login" and fill in the three fields from your KenoaTV welcome email. If the app asks for a port, it is usually part of the server URL (for example :8080), so you don't enter it separately. If your player doesn't load the guide through the Xtream Codes login, add the EPG URL from the email.
M3U playlist or Xtream Codes: which to choose
Both reach the same KenoaTV channels. Xtream Codes is often easier to type with a TV remote, because the details are short. The M3U playlist is the one more apps accept, including some Smart TV apps that have no Xtream Codes option. If one doesn't work in your app, try the other.
The MAG box portal URL
A MAG box doesn't use either of the two above. It connects through a portal URL:
- With the MAG remote, open Settings, then System Settings, then Servers (the wording can differ slightly by model) and go to the portal settings.
- Replace the existing portal address with the KenoaTV portal URL from your welcome email. Enter the full address, including the http:// at the start.
- Save the settings and restart the box.
- After the restart, the box syncs with KenoaTV and shows the channel list.
The same portal URL works in STB emulator apps that imitate a MAG box. A portal login is tied to the device's MAC address, so keep that address private as well.
Which login goes with which device
These are the player apps the KenoaTV setup guide names for each device. They are third-party apps, made and updated by their own developers.
| Device | Player apps named in the guide | Login to use |
|---|---|---|
| Amazon Fire TV Stick | IPTV Smarters Pro, TiviMate, Perfect Player | M3U playlist, or Xtream Codes where the app offers it |
| Android phones, tablets and TV boxes | IPTV Smarters Pro, TiviMate, Perfect Player | M3U playlist, or Xtream Codes where the app offers it |
| iPhone and iPad | IPTV Smarters Pro, GSE Smart IPTV, nPlayer | M3U playlist ("Add Playlist" or "Remote Playlist") |
| Samsung Smart TV | Smart IPTV | M3U playlist |
| LG Smart TV | IPTV Smarters or SS IPTV | M3U playlist |
| MAG box | Built-in portal | Portal URL |
| Enigma2 (Dreambox, VU+) | Web interface, bouquet | M3U playlist, converted to a bouquet |
For a PC, or a device not in the table, ask the team on WhatsApp which player to use. On a Fire TV Stick, our Firestick setup guide walks through the setup step by step, and the setup page has the steps for every device.
KenoaTV and the IPTV EPG: adding and refreshing the guide
The IPTV EPG (electronic program guide) is the grid that shows what's on now and next on each channel. It comes from the EPG URL in your welcome email, or through the Xtream Codes login in players that fetch it that way.
Refreshing the channel list
When the channel list changes, your player needs to read it again. Most players have a reload, refresh or update option in the playlist settings or in the menu of the playlist itself: run it and wait for the list to load. Restarting the app after the refresh helps if the menu still looks the same.
When the guide is empty or out of date
- Reload the EPG. Players usually have a separate "update EPG" or "refresh guide" option; run it after reloading the playlist.
- Check the EPG URL. An empty guide often means the EPG field was left blank or has a typing mistake.
- Delete and re-enter. If a reload doesn't help, remove the playlist from the app and add it again with the M3U link and EPG URL from your email.
- Check the time setting. If the guide is there but shifted by an hour or more, look at the player's time-zone or time-shift setting.
If none of that works, message the KenoaTV team on WhatsApp: support runs 24/7.
Keeping your KenoaTV login private
Your M3U link, Xtream Codes login and portal URL are the keys to your plan. Each KenoaTV plan includes one connection, so one screen at a time, and the terms of service prohibit sharing your subscription with others. In practice:
- don't post your links, username or password online or in screenshots;
- don't give your login to friends or family outside your plan;
- keep your MAG box's MAC address private;
- if you need to watch on more than one screen at the same time, ask the team about extra connections (their price isn't published).
Sharing your account breaks the terms, and a breach of the terms is one of the cases the refund policy excludes.
Typing your login without mistakes
Most failed logins are typing errors. Check for a missing character, an extra space at the end, a mix-up between similar letters and numbers, or a missing http:// in a portal URL. Usernames and passwords are usually case-sensitive. When you can, copy the details from the email instead of retyping them, or type them on a phone keyboard in a player that has a phone app.
Getting your KenoaTV login
Your login comes after you order. Ordering is done on WhatsApp: the team confirms your plan, sends a secure payment link (major cards: Visa, Mastercard and American Express), and your login details arrive by email with setup steps for your device. The how to order page has the steps.
Plans cover one connection and are paid once: $14.95 for 1 month, $29.95 for 3 months, $44.95 for 6 months and $59.95 for 12 months, with no auto-renewal. There's no free trial; the 1-month plan is the short way to try, and the team can check your device and app before you order (see the Try It page). New to IPTV? FAQ: M3U playlist, Xtream Codes and EPG
What is an M3U playlist?
An M3U playlist is a text list of channels and stream addresses that a player app reads to build its channel menu. You add it to the app as a link, the M3U URL from your welcome email.
What is Xtream Codes?
Xtream Codes is a login format: a server URL, a username and a password. Player apps that support it sign in to the server and load the channels and on-demand library from it. Look for "Xtream Codes" or "XC Login" in the app.
What is an IPTV EPG?
The EPG (electronic program guide) is the TV guide in your player. It comes from a separate EPG URL, which KenoaTV includes in the welcome email with the M3U link.
Where do I find my M3U URL?
In the KenoaTV welcome email you receive after ordering, together with the EPG URL, the Xtream Codes login and, for MAG boxes, the portal URL.
How do I refresh the channel list and EPG?
Use the player's reload or refresh option for the playlist, then its update option for the guide. If that doesn't help, delete the playlist and add it again with the M3U link and EPG URL.
Can I share my login?
No. Each plan includes one connection and the terms prohibit sharing. For more screens at once, ask the team about extra connections.
